WHAT is CRCCC or Caldicot RC Racers?

We are an indoor off-road radio controlled car club, our tracks are built differently each week and are made up of PrimaTrack carpet with some areas of bare floor and various jumps and other features.

Our core membership is 1/10th and 1/18th off-road, you can race anything offroad electric at our club, we a very helpfull bunch and will try to accomodate whatever class of electric car you race, 2wd, 4wd, and trucks.

WHEN?

We race every Friday night (except for Fridays in between Xmas and New Year). Doors open at 7PM, Heat 1 Round 1 starts around 8PM. Finals finish around 11PM.

HOW?

The club is very relaxed but we have at least 3 Rounds of qualifying and 1 final for every driver. We aim to be finished racing by 11PM as the hall must be empty by Midnight.

The club has AMBrc lap counting which supports the use of personal transponders. We do not have hand outs but we do offer a Hire Purchase scheme which allows you to hire a personal transponder for £1 per night and once the cost of the transponder is covered you can keep it!

HOW MUCH?

Racing is £2 per night for members and £3 per night for non members.
Club membership is £15 and BRCA membership is £13. (all racers must have BRCA membership)

Your first nights racing with us will be free and you may race for up to 3 times before you must join the BRCA (which we can sort out for you). The BRCA provides you with 3rd party liability insurance and is mandatory.
